Dons Overcome Chester

MK Dons have once again won as they this time overcome high-flying Chester.

This game was tipped to be the game of league 2 on Saturday morning, but it didn`t take long for the deadlock to be broken. A smart run from Aaron Wilbraham saw him impressively tee up Mark Wright for the opener.

The Dons then dominated as Keith Andrews had a stomper, but it was Lloyd Dyer who assisted with the second. The speedy winger was taking part in his first game since Wycombe 2 week`s back, after suspension as he set up Jemal Johnson to double the Dons lead.

Willy Gueret was again the hero as he saved a penalty from ex-Lincoln Simon Yeo. The MK stopper has been a key part of MK`s success this term.

Agreed you dominated in the first half but only created a couple of chances of any note. After the break I thought you were certainly second best and scored with your one and only attempt on target in that period. Your keeper was outstanding, I am sure if we had pulled one back we would have gone on and at least got a point from the game.
