Dons are only two wins from a trip to Wembley after an impressive win over League 1 side Bournemouth.
Bournemouth were two down inside 15 minutes after a Keith Andrews penalty and a Danny Swailes volley.
Dons were awarded the penalty after Jemal Johnson linked up wonderfully with Kevin Gallen and the speedy American was hacked down in the box.
Andrews stepped up confidently and sent the keeper the wrong way. From then the young Bournemouth team could not cope with MK and 8 minutes later Danny Swailes volleyed Diallo’s knock down home.
A boring second half saw MK hold on, and we now wait to see who the Dons pull out the hat in the semi-final draw.

It always looked like a possible upset at Bournemouth who are down to the bare bones with players injured.
