Following his reported £1m transfer from the MK Dons earlier this week, midfield man Keith Andrews was in action for Blackburn Rovers at Upton Park.

The former Dons captain replaced Vincenzo Grella at half-time in East London, as Paul Ince succumbed to his first defeat as a Premier League manager. His Rovers side were soundly beaten 4-1 by under-fire Alan Curbishley’s men.

Blackburn were 2-1 behind when Andrews entered the field, but could not make an impact on the game, and was helpless as Rovers conceded two more late goals.

We here at Vital Dons HQ will be watching MoTD intently this evening, eagerly assessing how our former heroes are faring now in the big time!

He didn’t even get a mention on MoTD, not even at the bottom to recognise that he had come on as a half-time substitute.
