After finalising a one-month loan move to Barnet earlier in the week, Paul Mitchell featured in this afternoon’s trip for the Bees to Chester City.
Unfortunately for Mitchell and his new team-mates, they went down 5-1 in League Two against their fellow strugglers.
However, on a brighter note, Mitchell did get 70 minutes of first-team action, after starting the match, only being replaced with twenty minutes remaining.
He was one of Barnet’s better performers on an afternoon of all-round disappointment.
We’ll endeavour to keep you updated, through MitchWatch, on how the midfielder’s spell with the Bees is going.

Nice to see him getting plenty of match-time under his belt out on loan – it was probably the best thing for all parties to let him have time away for a month. Shame about the result though 🙁
Hmm got some match time in the match I saw, not exactly quality though Barnet are sinking fast
