Vital MoTM Updates

In the aftermath of the MK Dons exit from the Carling Cup at Cardiff City, our usual voting system for the game’s man-of-the-match was overlooked.

However, we did provide you with a belated opportunity to vote for your Cardiff MoTM, and we can now publish those results.

Sam Baldock forced his way into 2nd place with a very respectable 22% of the votes, although the winner at Ninian Park was on-loan Chelsea winger Shaun Cummings.

He picked up a third of the poll votes (33%) and enters our Player Of The Year rankings for the first time.

Over the past couple of days, the Vital readership have also had the chance to nominate their MoTM from Saturday’s home defeat against Swindon Town.

A trio of players picked up 18% of the votes; Kevin Gallen, Aaron Wilbraham & Peter Leven.

However, with 22% of the vote, Jude Stirling was voted as your MoTM, despite the Dons throwing away a point with a late goal.

Like Shaun, Jude also enters our ranking system for the first time and, as not one player has won the MoTM vote more than once yet, all the players are sitting on the same scores.

Here’s how our Vital Dons’ MoTM table is looking today;

=1. Sam Baldock – 1
=1. Willy Gueret – 1
=1. Mark Wright – 1
=1. Flavien Belson – 1
=1. Shaun Cummings – 1
=1. Jude Stirling – 1

It shouldn’t be long now though, before one player makes a break for it and starts opening up a gap at the top of the table.

Our latest site poll asks whether or not you think latest signing, Miguel Angel Llera, will be a hit at stadium:mk.

Your voting is much appreciated.
