Former MK Dons striker Leon Knight has been released from Wycombe Wanderers, just a year after they splashed out £55,000 to sign him.
Wanderers manager Peter Taylor apparently blasted the 25-year-old’s attitude and fitness during pre-season, before letting him leave yesterday.
Knight scored five times in 20 appearances for Wycombe last season, after earning a move from the Dons last summer.
Whilst at stadium:mk, he bagged five goals in 33 appearances in 18 months. He has also spent time at Brighton & Swansea, after starting his career with Chelsea.
The Hackney-born forward, who turns 26 next month, is now desperately searching for a new club.
