MK Dons have stretched their lead at the top of league two as MK win and several
Competitors lose.
As Darlington and Hereford fail to win, MK capitalised with a win over Mansfield.
Keith Andrews got the winner in the 58th minute with a spectacular 30-yard free kick which crashed in off of the bar. Until this point the Dons had struggled to turn their huge amount of possession into a goal.
Dons were without Sean O`Hanlon and Kevin Gallen and to be fair, the two replacements – Luke Howell and Drewe Broughton looked slightly off of the pace.
MK`s next trip is away at Millmoor to face in-form Rotherham. The first time the two sides have met since May 2005 that subsequently saw the Dons relegated from League 1.
