MK Dons travel to Peterborough to take on Darren Fergusons in-form Posh.

It is a match that will see former popular Dons drefender Craig Morgan likely to play against his old club, and former Posh defender Jude Stirling, who is now a Don, likely to play against his.

Vital Quotes:

‘Martin Allen has them well-organised and their strike force has yielded a lot of goals, but we have to concentrate on ourselves. We know what the Dons’ strengths and weaknesses are, but I also believe that they won’t be looking forward to playing our strikers.’
Darren Ferguson – Manager Peterborough United

‘We are now preparing to play against the Chelsea of this division. They have spent big money to bring in some very good players, players I have admired for a long time but could not afford. Forget league tables, with the amount of money they have spent, there is no doubt in my mind that we are the underdogs going into this fixture.’
Martin Allen – Manager MK Dons

Peterborough Team News:

Aaron McLean is out with a knee injury that is likely to see him sidelined for the remainder of the season. Guy Branston and Adam Smith are both currently injured. Mark Arber is expected to retun to the side after recovering from am ankle injury.

Recently signed from Conference leagues Dagenham and Redbridge, Striker Mackail-Smith will be looking to make his mark at the new club and will be a threat in front of the Dons goal.

Match Facts & Stats

Posh will be high on confidence having been unbeaten in their last three games. They are currently 9th in the league and a strong finish to the season could see them reach the playoffs, they will be looking for three points from this game to help make this more likely.

The Dons currently occupy third place in the league and have been unbeaten in their last five games. They showed their character in last weeks clash with Boston to come back from 2-1 down to win 3-2. Three points are needed from this game to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

Posh won the clash at the NHS earlier in the season and the Dons will be seeking their revenge. The match will see an army of Dons supporters travelling to Londoon Road for this regional clash.
