Drewe Broughton has been let go by Rotherham United after an unsuccessful trial at the club.

The 29-year-old striker is currently seeking a new club after being released by the Dons at the end of last season.

He made 13 appearances for the club, but failed to score a single goal.

Millers manager Mark Robins admitted Broughton had done well with the club, however they would not be offering him a permanent deal.

‘I won’t be perusing the situation with Drewe but I thank him for his efforts while he has been with us,’ said Robins.

In 343 career appearances Broughton has managed just 67 goals, averaging at a goal every 5.1 games.
