And It’s…. Birmingham Away!

The Dons have been handed a half-decent away trip to Birmingham in the Carling Cup third round.

The Blues, managed by Alex McLeish, were given a scare by Rochdale in the second round. A crowd of just over 6,000 turned up – but the game was on Sky, probably affecting the attendance dramatically.

Overall the money men that Robbo alluded to during the week won’t be too excited by the prospect, but it is, after all, a tie that the Dons could squeeze a win from if they’re lucky on the night.

Dons fans may remember the trip to St Andrews in the third round of the FA Cup in 2004, where MK-based Wimbledon lost 1-0 to a goal from Bryan Hughes.

    tough game, winnable though!

Winnable?! You must think you could hold Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United to extra time easily then! Your in the same league as Rotheram FFS! The only reason they scored vs us was down to some dodgy officiating, and a lot of players playing out of position. You have no chance get a reality check will you.

‘Your in the same league as Rotherham FFS!’ – Rotherham are in League Two!
