MK Dons found out who they would face in the FA Cup on Monday but tonight it’s the league cup that takes our focus, with a round four tie taking place at home.

The Stadium:mk was the scene of a famous humiliation of one United earlier in the competition when we thrashed Manchester United four-nil, tonight we face another United with Sheffield United coming to town.

MK Dons will give Dean Bowditch (leg) and Kyle McFadzean (concussion) fitness tests before a decision is made on their involvement this evening, both missed the nil-nil draw with Doncaster Rovers at the weekend.

Carl Baker, Mark Randall, Tom Hitchcock and Benik Afobe are all seeking recalls, and Karl Robinson will probably make some alterations to the starting XI.

Danny Green (hamstring) and Lee Hodson (ankle) are back in training but aren’t in contention to feature tonight.

Sheffield United could also rotate with Mark McNulty is in line for a recall and Jay McEveley (shoulder) available again.

It’s a great chance for progression, but can we take it?

The last league cup meeting between the sides coming in the third round back in 2007 when Sheffield United won three-two on that occasion.
