MK Dons weren’t able to score at the weekend, although the blank that they drew was matched by Doncaster Rovers in a 0-0 draw.

Karl Robinson admitted that he was ‘slightly disappointed’ that a win couldn’t be gained, as we had the chances, but he was happy all in all with the point which he felt was ‘a good point’ with the cleansheet especially welcomed with an 8th cleansheet already this season secured when we managed only 12 in the whole of last season.

After the game Robinson said: ‘If I’m honest I’m slightly disappointed that we didn’t pinch it near the end when we hit the post and had a shot cleared off the line but don’t get me wrong.

‘That’s a good point against a good side and it’s our eighth clean sheet of the season when we only had 12 in the whole of last season.’

Tom Flanagan was the man denied by the with Benik Afobe having his effort, a lob, cleared off the line to deny us.

Positively we’ve got two games in hand so Robinson says he’s ‘feeling positive’ about what the season can bring with him just looking for a better delivery from set pieces going forward, as that will cause more trouble to teams.
