A Sam Baldock hat-trick helped MK Dons to an emphatic home win over Chesterfield on Saturday.

Baldock (12) opened the scoring although Chesterfield levelled before the break through Boden (37).

Just before the hour Baldock (59) struck again and just after it Bowditch (61) added another to give The Dons a 3-1 lead.

3-1 became 3-2 when Boden (67) scored again to reduce the deficit, although another two goals in as many minutes from Chadwick (70) and a hat-trick goal from Baldock (72) secured the points.

The gloss was put on the display when O’Shea (86) converted a late penalty to secure a 6-2 win.
