MK Dons travel to Blackburn tomorrow eager to extend the gap with the relegation zone.

The Dons responded from Saturday`s awful 2-0 loss to Bristol City with a better performance in Tuesday`s 1-1 draw with Huddersfield. They did however suffer a last minute equaliser in that game and we`ll have to be more solid to get the much needed points against Blackburn.

Alex Revell impressed against Huddersfield and his first goal for the club, a powerful header from a cross, is the sort that Dons fans don`t often see at stadium:mk. However, Robinson has suggested that Revell might not be ready to start consecutive games so Emmanuel-Thomas and Maynard will compete to start upfront.

Jonny Williams also impressed at number 10 while Cropper will continue in goal in Martin`s absence. Carruthers will also return following suspension and will give the Dons a vitality they`ve missed in the last couple of games.

While the Dons have only won twice away this season, their last game on the road was a 1-0 at Derby so perhaps we`re beginning to gain more confidence away from home.

Yet, if our away form hasn`t been the best, Blackburn have also been poor at home, and have only won one of their previous five home games in the Championship, having failed to score in five of the previous 10.

They do sit just two points ahead of the Dons in 19th, but also have two games in hand and lost their last game 1-0 at Derby.

Danny Guthrie, Lee Williamson and Jason Lowe are all out for Blackburn although Craig Conway and Simeon Jackson could be back.

Although a result like the 3-0 win back in October is the aim, any sort of positive result would be welcome at this stage of the season.
