Vital MKD can reveal that in the press conference that has been called for tomorrow morning, Paul Ince will be officially named as MK Dons boss!
The rookie manager`s only achievement in management has been saving Macclesfield from the drop at the end of this season, but seems keen to climb the management ladder, after telling mtfc.co.uk:
‘I am ambitious to make it to the very top`
He also said: It feels like the decision Thierry Henry has had to make regarding going to Barcelona.
He added: ‘They have significantly more resources for me to work with`
This comes after over a month of speculation after Martin Allen`s departure last month.
The ex England international had a very successful playing career at many different clubs, including: West Ham, Man United, Inter Milan and Liverpool and his previous transfer fees clock up to over thirteen million pounds!
While talking to mtfc.co.uk, Rob Bickerton, the Macclesfield Town chairman said:
‘Paul is a very special person and a fantastic manager`
He added:
‘We tried our best to keep him at the club but we must accept that these things happen in football`
Paul Ince will also bring Ray Mathias (assistant) and Ian Brightwell (first team coach) with him after they also resigned today. Ince is also expected to bring ex England International, Les Ferdinand to the club as a striker coach!
