Rumour has it that Kevin Keegan is after the exiting managers vacancy at MK Dons.
Keegan has been jobless for over two years, and is believed to be in talks with optimistic chairman Peter Winkelman. Vital MKD understands that the ex-England manager has been sighted at the National Hockey Stadium, Milton Keynes central train Station and the Dons impressive new stadium in Denbeigh!

After an extremely impressive playing career, Keegan started his managerial career at Newcastle United in 1992, and enjoyed 5 successful years at the Magpies, most notably coming runners-up in the premiership, after the title was cruelly snatched from their hands by Manchester United.

After 1 year at Fulham, he took the reigns of Manchester City in 2001, and was replaced by Stuart Pearce in 2005.

He has got the whole package that the Dons require to get them up. A league 2 side going for an ex-England boss seems hugely optimistic, but time will tell, and you can hear who the lucky man is here when it is announced!

mk news has confirmed that kevin keegan is no longer in the running for the mk dons managers vacancy it now looks like it is between micky adams and mike newell all though kenny jackett is also thought to be in the running. with micky adams being good friends with mkdons chairman pete winkleman he now looks certain to take charge in the next week

i agree wi u matty in a way, mcleod is a funny player in the sense tht he is there in smal situations, jst pops up and thn scores a goal out of nowhere which thn gives the team a big lift…. but wi him out, its not been at all bad, platt is on fire, scorin a few crucial goals last season, knight looked like he was gettin sorted and bein a crucial member…shud b gd season with or without mcleod!
as for the manager situation, it wld b funny if newell come, adams is a decent manager in his own right aswel and i wldnt mind him bein the manager, my money is on him
