With MK Dons defenders Danny Swailes and Drissa Diallo already out injured another injury to a defender would be disastrous for Roberto Di Matteo, and when Sean O’Hanlon was taken off in the win over Watford last night some might have feared the worst.

However Di Matteo has played down the seriousness of the injury, saying it was merely a precautionary measure with him coming off: ‘I had to take Sean off at half-time because he had a little injury and, with the other injuries we have, it’s not ideal,’ He told the official website.

The Dons manager did however go on to conceded that with a small squad he does need to bring in some new players before the League One season kicks off, but he is looking for quality and not merely quantity, he added: ‘We have a small squad and we’re trying to add some members to it in the next 10 days. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the quality of players we sign.’

Do you think that Roberto Di Matteo will be able to bring in some of the players that he needs before the season begins? If so where do you feel he most needs to strengthen the squad?
