Milton Keynes Dons appeal to the football league for a postponement of our trip to Sheffield United has proven successful.
Why was this the case? Well during the ‘international break’, as they would call it in the top two levels of the game, clubs shut down but only if you have x-amount of players away on international duty at this level do you get the luxury of a ‘free weekend’.
This is what we will, unfortunately in many ways, have on Saturday 6th September as the proposed trip to Bramall Lane has been postponed due to the amount of international call-ups we have been given.
Not that these call-up have yet been revealed!
A midweek date later in the season will be announced in due course.
