Jermaine Easter has now played 854 minutes of competitive football without finding the net – his longest barren spell since joining the Dons. His last goal came in first half injury time against Gillingham on March 27th.

Last season’s dirtiest team, this season MK are yet to pick up a card, unless you count Robbo’s ejection in the first-half yesterday.

Whilst the performance at Brunton Park may no bode well, Dons can take heart that their opponents, Blackpool, received a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday. Goals must be guaranteed on Tuesday night, considering both teams have conceded 10 goals between them this weekend.

The game against Swindon on Saturday represents the first game this season where MK picked up points in the corresponding fixture in 09/10.

In both games this season, the Dons have scored one more and conceded on less than the corresponding fixture least season. On this basis, the Dons should win 3-0 on Saturday. (Yeah, right).

Saturday will also see one of only two occasions that an ex-MK manager (Danny ‘lean on the dugout’ Wilson) will visit stadiumMK on a professional basis, the other will be the Southampton goalkeeping coach Stuart Murdoch.
