Milton Keynes Dons’ outside chances of making the league one play-offs this season were dealt a blow in more ways that one on Saturday.

Not only did MK Dons lose to Peterborough United 2-0 at London Road on Saturday afternoon the defeat also saw Stephen Gleeson pick up a yellow card, which was his 10th of the season.

This yellow card took the midfielders cards tally to the amount that brings a mandatory two-game suspension so he’ll now miss the league one meetings with Stevenage Borough and Gillingham.

Gleeson will be eligible to make his MK Dons return for the meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers at stadium:mk at the end of the month.
