Dons Striker Kabongo Tshimanga has joined Conference side Aldershot Town on a youth loan.

The 17-year-old will be with Aldershot up until and including 28th February.

Tshimanga is contracted to remain at stadium:mk until the summer of 2016, with the option of an extra year after signing a professional deal earlier this season.

He also made his first-team debut in the FA Cup victory over Port Vale in November.

With 42 goals in 25 outings for the youth team Tshimnage is a player who`s exciting many Dons fans, pointing to the likes of Dele Alli who also started to make an impact in the first team around this age.

Nevertheless it will be great to see what he can do at a professional level, a view mirrored by Dons boss Karl Robinson, who told mkdons.com:

“This will be Kabongo`s first spell away from the Club and it will provide him with an excellent chance to get some experience of playing senior football at a competitive level.

‘As with all loan players, we`ll keep a keen eye on his progress as he aims to develop further, in what has already been a fantastic season for him.”

Indeed, the fact that he has gone on loan to a club higher up the football pyramid than Burns and Hickford suggests he may well be a part of the club`s future plans.
