League 1 continues this weekend with MK Dons back in action with a home game on the menu this time round.

MK Dons, as we were in midweek for a last gasp league cup exit, are at the stadium:mk on Saturday afternoon with Swindon Town the visitors.

Defeat aside, having lost to two late goals in the two-one reverse against Sheffield United, we came through the midweek cup exit without any new injuries or suspensions to worry about.

Danny Green (hamstring) is back in training but not ready for his return yet.

Lee Hodson and George Baldock are also still out, they’ve been out with long-term injury issues.

In-form Swindon, like us, don’t have any new problems to deal with since their last game with them six away games without defeat but they’ll be without Raphael Rossi Branco (groin) still.

Ahead of the game MK Dons assistant Richie Barker told BBC Three Counties Radio: ‘Swindon play attractive football, they try and play the right way. They have a model with younger, athletic players, a bit like us.

‘On Saturday you’ll see the ball moved about quickly.

‘They’ve done extremely well. Sometimes we get a little carried away with what other people do.

‘We want to ensure that we’re as close as we can be to that two points per game that we’re looking for to get promoted. We’re not a million miles from that.’
