Not many defenders manage six goals in a career, let alone six goals in a season do they?

Shaun Williams has already managed to hit the back of the net on six occasions, so he’s already matched his goals return from last season, however he’s not prepared to settle for this as he wants more!

Double figures is now the defenders aims, as he told BBC Three Counties Radio: ‘I got six last year and I’m on six already. If I make double figures I’ll be happy.

‘Hopefully I’ll get a few from open play in the next couple of games. Patrick has been hoovering up most of the goals, so I’ll chip in with what I can.’

The fact that Williams takes freekicks and penalties helps him boost his goals tally, but he still has to convert them when they present themselves with him so far scoring twice from the penalty spot and also with two freekicks.

With us just having come into November you’d like to think that Williams can score at least another four goals, in fact I’d think more?
