Unsurprisingly, as lets face it if it wasn’t the case we would have been amazed, Milton Keynes Dons’ next league cup game will be shown live on sky sports.

The reward for seeing off AFC Wimbledon three-one in the first round on Tuesday was a meeting with one of the giants of world football Manchester United, in a game that was scheduled for sometime at the end of the month.

A date on Tuesday 26th August, with a 7:45pm kick-off, has been confirmed for the second round clash.

Not only will the stadium:mk see a good attendance on the night, well it should anyway, the viewing numbers on the box will be high in anticipation of an upset? The last time United had to enter the league cup at this stage, pushing of for 20-years ago now, they were upset over two-legs by York City.

If they, against arguably a better United squad, can do it why shouldn’t we?
