All five goals scored at the weekend came from Milton Keynes Dons players against Stevenage, unfortunately one of them was in the wrong net.

The dreaded “og” next to the name, that no player ever wants, belonged to Potter from the weekend but that was the only blemish on a convincing 4-1 win over Stevenage.

Defeat was felt for the first time recently and Karl Robinson went into the game at the stadium:mk hoping that he’d get a reaction, and he sure did!

Not that he ever doubted it…

Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio: ‘I know my players, I know this club, and in signs of adversity we always come back fighting.’

The game was over by the midway point of the first half wasn’t it when we raced into a three-nil lead with a great array of quality shown.

In fact the boss was left positively drooling at what he saw with the impact of Danny Green given special mention with the stock of teenager Deli Alli continuing to grow with another performance akin to someone with much more experience behind him. Robinson in fact has gone as far as rating All as one of the best players in the country!

He added: ‘I thought the way we moved the ball around in the first half was sensational.

‘Danny Green was sensational today. It’s his best performance in an MK Dons shirt for me. And Deli Alli is one of the best English players in the country – fact.’

You couldn’t have asked for much more from the club at the weekend could you?

Not only did we get back to winning ways, but got back to winning ways in style and immense quality!
