Karl Robinson has moved to deny the thoughts that Dele Alli and Brendan Galloway will definitely be sold during the summer transfer window.

Alli continues to be linked with a move away from Milton Keynes Dons with some of the biggest clubs in the world from the premier league continually linked with him, but so far no offer has been received.

Robinson isn’t inviting this and insists that it isn’t ‘inevitable’ that he and Galloway will leave the club this summer as they club ‘don’t have to sell them’ with him saying that Alli has made it clear he’s happy where he is with the boss very much planning on using him this season.

The MK Dons boss told the MK Citizen: ‘Dele and his advisors and his family have told us he`s happy to stay at the club, and he loves it here. He`s very grounded.

‘I can`t wait to see him alongside Darren Potter in the centre of the midfield.

‘He has started pre-season in even better form than he did last year, and that`s a scary thought.’

Robinson admitted to feeling ‘really disappointed’ and ‘let down’ by the way Galloway’s desire to leave the stadium:mk was announced and even though a reported move to Everton hasn’t happened yet he hasn’t heard anything from the player of his advisors yet.

The teenager has been given some ‘bad advice’ in Robinson’s eyes but if a move doesn’t take place he would welcome him back into the fold.

He added: ‘I gave Brendan his debut when he was 15, I was there when he scored his first goal, and I left the game to put my arm around him when he got sent off against Rotherham.

‘Of course I`d welcome him back. I have nothing against him. I just feel he has been given some bad advice.’

Interesting, and mainly, positive thoughts.
