Karl Robinson’s attracted attention from clubs before and he’ll attract attention of clubs again with the latest reports saying Rangers have shown an interest in making him their next manager.

Reports north of the board, from an exclusive claimed by Herald Sport, say that Rangers wanted him to become their manager when Stuart McCall was appointed earlier in the season.

McCall is in charge at Ibrox until the end of the season, so it’s still possible that the fallen giants will be seeking yet another manager at the end of their campaign – with or without promotion – but having found out that he was an option it’s claims that Robinson has told ‘a source’ that as flattered as he was to hear of the Rangers with them the ‘right club, wrong time’ and he’s not looking to go anywhere.

Robinson, which you would believe, is reportedly in talks about signing a new long-term contract at the stadium:mk that would put to bed any suggestion that he could leave for Rangers.

This time anyway….
