Ben Reeves has earned his first international call-up after Northern Ireland selected him for the friendly with Cyprus next week.

The midfielder has been in good form for Milton Keynes Dons this season in league one, and in the cup competitions, and has caught the eye of Northern Ireland boss Michael Hughes who handed him his first call-up for the game in Nicosia.

10 goals in 31 appearances for the 22-year-old Reeves, who is English born but is eligible for Northern Ireland, represents very good form and as he’s played premier league football with former club Southampton he clearly possesses very good quality.

It’s the first time that Reeves has had any involvement at any level for Northern Ireland.
