MK Dons returned to winning ways, and in emphatic fashion, as they thumped League One leaders Doncaster at stadium:mk on Tuesday night.

Having been denied by the woodwork twice MK Dons looked like they’d slipped behind but James Harper’s effort for Doncaster was ruled out for a foul with the hosts soon taking the lead. Just minutes after coming on Izale McLeod (40) followed up to score his first goal for MK Dons since his return.

Fresh from his new contract Daniel Powell (56) celebrated this by extending the lead shortly after the break.

Doncaster twice went close before MK Dons wrapped up a 3-0 win when the returning Stephen Gleeson (83), playing his first game in three-months, scored with his first touch.
