Carlisle 1-1 MK Dons

Brunton Park

MK Dons’ chances of securing a place in the League One play offs come the end of the season is close to being over following a failure to win at Carlisle on Saturday afternoon.

With Danny Livesey receiving treatment following a head injury MK Dons had a couple of chances to open the scoring but couldn’t manage this, however with the Carlisle defender again off the pitch they finally did break the deadlock shortly before the break when Adam Chicksen (36) scored.

MK Dons went into the game knowing that they had to win really to revive their fading League One play off chances but couldn’t manage this with Mark Beck (85) doing what he was brought on to do, drawing the hosts level within five-minutes of his arrival to see the game end 1-1.
