MK Dons manager had admitted that he wanted to sign Chelsea`s Lewis Baker on loan, but the midfielder has now he has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long deal instead.

Lewis Baker enjoyed a fantastic spell with the Dons in the second half of last season, scoring 3 goals in 12 games as the Dons were promoted, and it seemed like he could have made a great replacement for Dele Alli.

The news is a blow, but Robinson will be the first to admit the difficulties and unreliability of using the loan system, and will doubtless have other options lined up.
