The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy gives most clubs in league one and league two the chance of playing at Wembley; that they wouldn’t ordinarily expect. MK Dons being among them.

Following the draw for round two, made live on Soccer AM on Saturday, Milton Keynes Dons now know who they will face.

This draw saw them paired with Stevenage, with Stevenage having a slight advantage, as they will be the home side.

MK Dons will know that this is a tricky tie, however it is one that I’m sure they’ll believe they’re more than capable of winning, as will the fans!

Quite clearly, and understandably, Karl Robinson’s focus this season is to finally get MK Dons out of league one and into the championship but if the club can enjoy a bit of success, and possibly go all the way to Wembley for this one, they wouldn’t say no would they…
