Karl Robinson has bemoaned the lack of goals his Milton Keynes Dons side have scored; he’ll be hoping his latest signing can help create some as well as score some.

Matthew Kennedy has joined MK Dons on loan from Everton until the end of the season, with the winger in line to make his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

It’s hope that he can help add something attacking wise and give ‘another option’, Robinson told the official website: ‘He’s someone we’ve watched throughout the season in the U21s at Everton and he’ll bring pace, trickery and excitement.

‘He also provides us with another option at the top end of the pitch, which is somewhere we are looking to improve.

‘He did very well for Tranmere earlier this season and he is highly thought of by Roberto Martinez and the coaches at Everton.

‘I’d like to thank Roberto and Everton for allowing us to get this deal done and I look forward to working with him.’

The 19-year-old made eight appearances for Tranmere Rovers during his loan spell at Prenton Park earlier in the season but hasn’t yet managed to make his Everton debut.
