MK Dons struck in injury-time to secure a point in the league one opener against Hartlepool on Saturday, although it could have been better but for a controversial moment.

Boyd (20) gave the visitors the lead, and this is how it remained at half time.

Early in the second period Chadwick (53) equalised for The Dons although Hartlepool again went ahead through Poole (85) late on, and that looked as though it would be the winner for the away side.

Not to be beaten Ibehre (90) equalised in injury-time to secure a 2-2 draw.

Even then The Dons could have, and should have, had a chance to secure a win but Andy D’Urso waved away a strong penalty appeal.
