Ian McLoughlin’s MK Dons future has been secured following the signing of a new contract.

A desire to stay with the club had been expressed by the goalkeeper and Karl Robinson was confident that this would be the case and everyone can now relax as he’s penned a new two-year deal with the option of a third.

McLoughlin will challenge David Martin hard for the number one spot this season, but it’s securing the 21-year-old with the longer-term in mind too that has pleased Robinson the most, with him expressing those thoughts.

Every club needs two quality keepers to challenge each other and this is definitely what the club have at stadium:mk!
