Milton Keynes Dons made it through the first round of the league cup against a league 2 rival on Tuesday; we’ll need to cause a major upset to get into round three though.

The reward for the three-one win at the stadium:mk against AFC Wimbledon in the first round is a second round meeting with premier league giants Manchester United.

Arguably the best draw we could have wished for we got, perhaps the only thing is that it wasn’t at Old Trafford? This will definitely be shown live of sky sports no two ways about it as it’s United’s first second round tie since 1995, they lost over two-legs to York City that season.

Is another upset on the cards?

We’ll be at home again this time; United will come to the stadium:mk the week commencing August 25th as Karl Robinson sends out the boys looking to pull off what would be considered his biggest scalp yet and a real cup upset.

Can we do it? At home, in front of the sky sports cameras, it will be incredibly difficult but by no means impossible!
