Leeds welcomed MK Dons for their first ever visit to Elland Road this afternoon in a crucial League One clash.

Leeds handed a debut to Sam Sodje whilst other new signing Darryl Flahavan didn’t even make the bench.

Jermaine Beckford was back to lead the attack in place of Dickinson. Andy Robinson returned after injury and got a place on the substitute’s bench.

In a lively start MK Dons had the first real chance, Baldock’s free kick was parried by Ankergren and luckily for Leeds just went out and not into the goal. Becchio had Leeds first chance on goal but his effort was blocked by the MK defence.

A very competitive first half hour with both sides finding it hard to work a clear opening on goal.
