League cup – Norwich 0-4 MK Dons

MK Dons not only caused a Carling Cup upset on Tuesday night they humiliated premier league side Norwich in the process.

Many would have seen this tie as an opportunity for The Dons, who not so long ago played in the same league as Norwich, to cause an upset but few would have expected – despite the free scoring nature of The Dons recently, especially in this competition so far – such a mauling!

The Dons were 2-0 up inside the opening half an hour at Carrow Road with goals from Chadwick (21), a former Norwich player, and Baldock (28).

Another from Chadwick (60) on the hour was soon followed by a Powell (67) goal to secure MK Dons a 4-0 win and passage into round 3.
