MK Dons are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Ethan Ebanks-Landell in the two nil victory over Bury at the weekend at Gigg Lane was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Ebanks-Landell was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘A goal, a clean sheet, and a victory. That`s something Ebanks-Landell achieved multiple times in Sky Bet League One with Sheffield United last term, and he`s back at it again with MK Dons. The defender didn`t put a foot wrong, preventing Bury from breaking through, and his header at the other end put the Dons on their way to a 2-0 win.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Ebanks-Landell for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.
