MK Dons have been dealt a blow with the news that Mathias Doumbe will be out for more than a month.

The defender, as he told the official website, is expected to be out for around 6-weeks according to head of sports medicine Simon Crampton: ‘we expect him to be out for a minimum of six weeks.

‘He will wear an air cast boot for two weeks and will be non weight bearing.’

Doumbe damaged ankle ligaments in the pre-season defeat against Oxford.
