MK Dons beat Shrewsbury Town 3 – 0 in League 2 on Saturday, which leaves them 10th in the league.

Before Saturday Paul Ince was yet to win a league game as MK Dons manager but the Dons beat Shrewsbury in style.

Shrewsbury were yet to lose this campaign and had taken maximum points in their first 2 games including a thrashing of promotion contenders Lincoln. But MK Dons second half performance altered that record.

Leon Knight was first to score while cleverly finishing off a well-built move. Knight was again involved as his inch perfect through ball enabled Lloyd Dyer to slot home the second. Keith Andrews completed his 100% scoring record by slotting home the third.

This was a brilliant performance from the Dons and will try to continue their league cup run on Tuesday night when they come up against championship promotion
