MK Dons are now closer to automatic promotion (and potentially as Champions) back to League One following a 2-1 victory at Lincoln.

Carl Regan gave the Dons the lead, with Jemal Johnson coming off the bench to double this early in the second half. In between the goals the Dons suffered injuries to Sean O’Hanlon and Colin Cameron however. Ben Wright pulled one back for the hosts but the Dons did enough to hold on.

Victory put the Dons a solitary point behind current League Two leaders Peterborough, although the Dons have games in hand so will be quietly confident of not only securing promotion, but securing this as Champions, but can they do it?
