Roberto Di Matteo says that he is looking to install the kind of passing style he became accustomed to as a player during his time with Chelsea, which he hopes would see the club continue to play the kind of football and make the moves forward seen under Paul Ince: ‘We want to play good football. The perfect scene is to play attractive football and be successful with it,’ Di Matteo told the media. ‘We will try to find a mix which allows us to do that.

‘You try to take what you have learned from the good managers you have worked with and ignore what the bad ones told you but you are moulded throughout your career by those people.

‘It can’t help but rub off on you.’

Di Matteo played under Ruud Gullit, Gianluca Vialli and Claudio Ranieri during his time with Chelsea, as well as playing alongside some of the best footballing talent around so if he can pass on some of this quality at the stadium:mk he will not do badly during his reign in charge.

Do you think that the MK Dons can get the kind of passing game together that Roberto Di Matteo is looking them to, and will this see the forward momentum started under Paul Ince continue?
