Red Devils Hold the Dons to a goalless draw!

M K Dons fielded virtually a whole team of triallists in the match in south London, as Paul Ince watched them draw with Crawley Town. The team had no real chances, apart from being denied a stone-wall penalty on the Dons first attack of the match. Keeper Nathan Abbey did keep a clean sheet, but only just as Magno Vieira missed an open goal for the reds after Rubin Hazzel`s back pass was much to short!

New signing Mark Wright did make an appearance coming off the bench and showed potential with his quick attacking flair! There was also an appearance from former Dons Nick McCoy after leaving Milton Keynes last summer to join Cardiff City.

All in all it was a boring game, and this was not a convincing display from the triallists, but there was some potential and the fact that they managed to keep a clean sheet will be music to Dons fans ears!

The Don`s line up was as follows:

First 11: Nathan Abbey, Rubin Hazell, Sam Collins, Mark Phillips, Kieran Murphy, Tony Caroyal, Nick McCoy, Matt Prosser, Luke Howell (c), Rowan Benjamin, Sam Baldock.

Bench: David Navarro, Sam Russell, Mark Wright, Vam, Ollie Thorne, Liam Kelly, Stephane Koffi.

Hope you sign Phillips and he does well for you…

Did anyone go to the game? I was working, was a bit concerned when I saw the result on SkySports news, then realised it was a team of fringe players/trialists playing

Phillips will do a decent job for you – just needs to cut silly mistakes out of his game
