It’s been confirmed by MK Dons that the club are looking to bring in Ryan Harley, and bring him to the club in time for him for feature on new years day.

Following the 3-2 loss to Coventry Karl Robinson admitted his interest in the Brighton midfielder: ‘He was one of the best players in this league a few years ago, he’s an exceptional talent.

‘We can’t confirm the deal but we’re in talks and the two clubs are talking and doing the best to make it happen, and he wants to be here. Hopefully we’ll have him for the Notts County game.

‘We look weak in the centre of midfield at the moment. It’s hard when you’ve only got players who haven’t played a lot this season.’

Stephen Gleeson’s (broken foot) injury sees him missing for MK Dons, and his absence is a big one that is heavily felt. An arrival at stadium:mk for 27-year-old Harley would soften the midfield blow slightly.
