MK Dons winger Dean Bowditch has signed a new two-year-deal with the club.

Although 2014/15 wasn`t the 28-year-old`s best season in a Dons shirt, he still made 40 appearances, scoring 4 goals, and will be a valuable part of the side next season.

Bowditch, who has been at the Dons since 2011, told MK Dons Player:
“I`m absolutely over the moon as soon as the Club said they wanted to offer me a contract, I was really pleased.

“It was a bit of an up and down season for me but I thought I finished well and the chance to play in the Championship is very exciting.

“I scored some goals and set some up towards the end – I felt like I was getting back to where I was when I first came. If I can continue that then it will only help the team and that`s my main aim.”

Indeed, while Bowditch will likely start the next campaign as a squad player, there`s no reason he won`t be able to force himself into the starting 11.
