Another sign that both Patrick Bamford and Milton Keynes Dons are doing something write this season has been proven by his performances being recognised.

Karl Robinson looked to clarify reports of possible Chelsea unhappiness at his progress at stadium:mk this week.

This hasn’t stopped speculation that he’ll be stepping up to championship level in the New Year though with his loan spell at us not extended with his parent club preferring to see him perform at the next step up?

Whatever will be will be though is something that I think we have to adopt with Bamford and enjoy his performances, and goals, while we have him at our club!

Bamford’s form in October was impressive enough to see him nominated to be the league one player of the month. This form included him scoring four goals, including a beauty against Gillingham and a winner against Rotherham.

The winner will be known at the end of the week, in order to win this though he’ll have to see off competition from Carl Baker (Coventry), James Henry (Wolves) and Bobby Olejnik (Peterborough).
