The Dons have been handed a difficult tie in the 2nd round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, hosting Charlton.
The Addicks are no strangers to Stadium:MK, winning 1-0 here last season courtesy of a Nicky Forster penalty.
The Dons have won both cup ties at home this season however, and will be keen to get into the third round draw.
Southern draw in full:
Southern section (west): Bristol Rovers v Aldershot, Swindon v Torquay, Cheltenham v Plymouth, Hereford v Exeter.
Southern section (east): Colchester v Wycombe, Leyton Orient v Brentford, MK Dons v Charlton, Barnet v Southend.
