Such is the expectation of Hugo Logan that Karl Robinson has had the 15-year-old training with the Milton Keynes Dons first-team squad for the past two-years.

Due to FA regulations the youngster hasn’t been able to make a first team appearance but this season is a different matter and having been unofficially involved in a first-team squad ahead of a game at the end of last season 2014/15 could be the year for Logan?

Robinson feels that he’s got a great future ahead of him and is developing, mentally and physically, all the time.

He told the official website: ‘I wanted to play him a little bit more last year but he was too young. He’s somebody with lovely ability, he’s a wonderful mover and he understands the game.

‘He’s an exceptionally gifted individual with an incredible amount of learning still to do, as well as developing physically and mentally.

‘Where he’s at now compared to where he can be is really exciting for the football club.’

Logan will turn 16 in September but would you bet against him making his first-team debut before this?
